About the role
- Cloud Engineer maintaining EU cloud-based infrastructure at Medline. Collaborating with infrastructure and application teams to ensure efficient and secure service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Continuously maintain our EU cloud infrastructure to ensure scalability and high availability
- Participate in architecture and design session related to infrastructure.
- Proactively resolve and perform root cause analysis for critical issues related to Medline cloud or EU container platform
- Work closely with Medline infrastructure and application teams to implement and manage secure, scalable, repeatable, and reliable infrastructure environments
- Collaborate with teams within IS organization to implement cloud and/or hybrid systems that support business objectives
- Create and update technical standards documentation
Requirements
- Working knowledge of container-based applications running on Azure Kubernetes Service or on-premises and about 5 years of technical experience in design, system installations, administration and/or support of business systems
- Knowledge of Terraform Cloud for Business
- Experience implementing, maintaining and optimizing cloud infrastructure on the Azure Cloud Platform as well as building and supporting mission-critical infrastructure for critical applications
- Experience with Windows and Linux Server System, log collection tools and analysis; infrastructure performance monitoring tools and optimization practices like the Prometheus stack, Splunk; TCP/IP networking and routing.
- Experience with Rancher is a plus
- Knowledge of software development practices and methodologies (e.g., Agile, DevOps)
- Working knowledge of CI/CD tools and concepts - Azure devops, Jenkins, Artifactory
