About the role

  • Senior Military Advisor liaising with military entities for aviation safety and airworthiness. Developing relationships, advising management, and coordinating with military stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the liaison between the Agency and military entities
  • Develop and maintain relationship and partnership strategy with military stakeholders
  • Advise the EASA Executive Director on state and military aviation landscape
  • Represent the Agency in military and state aviation related forums
  • Support and coordinate various Agency departments related to state and military aviation

Requirements

  • A thorough knowledge of one of the languages of the European Union (at least level C1)
  • A satisfactory knowledge of another language of the EU (at least level B2)
  • Be a national of a Member State of the European Union, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway or Switzerland
  • Completed university studies of at least 4 years
  • At least 12 years of relevant professional experience
  • Rank NATO equivalent of OF-6 or above
  • At least 5 years of military career in multinational entities or in cooperation with them.
  • English oral and written skills will be assessed
