About the role
- Trainee role in automotive finance providing hands-on training and mentoring at Eagers Automotive. Assisting customers with finance and insurance solutions in a high-volume environment.
Responsibilities
- Working alongside experienced colleagues, you’ll receive hands-on training in all aspects of automotive finance and insurance, including:
- Assisting with finance, insurance, and warranty solutions for customers
- Preparing and packaging finance applications accurately
- Learning lender processes, compliance requirements, and ASIC obligations
- Managing finance documentation, settlements, and record keeping
- Supporting reporting, remittances, and month-end processes
- Working closely with sales teams across multiple brands
- Developing customer communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Requirements
- Strong desire to build a career in automotive finance or financial services
- Experience in automotive sales, finance admin, dealership support, or customer service is highly regarded (but not essential)
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Confident communicator with a professional, customer-first approach
- Comfortable using computers, Microsoft Office, and learning new systems
- Motivated, reliable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
- A team player who takes pride in doing things properly
- Current Driver’s Licence preferred
