About the role
- FP&A Analyst managing financial dashboards and reporting at Cafeyn, a leading digital reading service. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive strategic decision-making and optimization processes.
Responsibilities
- Design, maintain, and optimize financial dashboards (P&L, cohorts, revenue, costs, cash, business KPIs, etc.)
- Produce monthly reporting for management and investors
- Analyze and explain variances between actuals, budget, and forecast
- Actively contribute to the annual budgeting process and quarterly reforecast cycles
- Build and continuously improve robust, scalable, and business-oriented financial models
- Develop scenario analyses to support strategic decision-making
- Work closely with Product, Tech, Marketing, HR, Content, and Operations teams to gain a deep understanding of business dynamics
- Translate data into actionable operational recommendations
- Provide analytical insights on offer performance, retention, acquisition, and monetization
- Identify performance improvement opportunities (pricing, cost structure, operational efficiency, campaign ROI, etc.)
- Contribute to the monitoring of the Group’s strategic initiatives
- Proactively propose improvements to FP&A processes, tools, and methodologies.
Requirements
- Master's degree (equivalent to Bac+5) in finance, management control, business analytics, or a business/engineering school
- 2–4 years of experience in FP&A, audit, transaction services, or management control
- Excellent proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (financial modeling)
- Comfortable with BI tools
- Strong skills in data analysis, logic, and structuring
- Detail oriented and rigorous
- Ability to translate complex insights into actionable solutions.
