About the role
- Leading a vendor support team for supply chain operations in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods industry. Managing order fulfillment, vendor communication, and inventory assessment remotely.
Responsibilities
- Support the Branch Manager, Supply Chain Manager, Project Manager, and Vendor team members in all aspects of day-to-day operations to ensure that the day-to-day supply chain business results are achieved.
- Ensure all material requisition orders, regular sales orders, and transfer warehouse orders are fulfilled regularly.
- Assist, support, and provide backup coverage for all Supply Chain team members.
- Understand and execute all Supply Chain activities such as stock take, inventory accuracy in allocation and consumption, material demand, and purchase orders.
- Assess and manage inventory levels to ensure continuity of supply.
- Liaise with project managers, vendors, and suppliers to ensure materials availability.
- Communicating with vendors about order status, shipping details, and other concerns.
- Respond to all vendor inquiries on time.
- Coordinating with Operations Team in Vernon – Logistics, Shipping & Receiving, Production, and QC.
- Communicating with Customer Support.
- Managing Excel logs, documentation, and claims.
Requirements
- Graduate of any 4-year business course
- 3-5 years of experience in leading in the same field
- The Fast-Moving Consumer Goods or Food industry is an advantage
- Above-average written and verbal English communication skills
- Above average proficiency in MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Teams
- Logical and critical thinking
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Can work in a high-pressure environment with a high sense of responsibility and accountability
- Willing to work on the graveyard shift
