About the role
- Accountant Analyst managing financial statements at Teltonika in São Paulo. Focused on compliance, reporting, and collaboration with global stakeholders in the financial sector.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage the main financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow).
- Lead monthly and annual closings, including P&L reporting, in collaboration with the CFO
- Maintain accurate general ledger records, journal entries, and supporting documentation
- Ensure compliance with Brazilian accounting, tax, and statutory requirements
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including billing and reconciliations
- Monitor cash flow and support foreign exchange operations
- Support inventory control, monthly inventory audits, and reconciliation of assets and liabilities
- Assist in budget preparation, financial forecasts, and variance analysis
- Prepare financial reports for internal management and external stakeholders
- Support internal and external audits
- Contribute to process improvements related to accounting, importation, and financial controls
Requirements
- Good English skills (written and spoken)
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in accounting roles (mid-level or senior)
- Strong knowledge of Brazilian accounting and tax legislation
- Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel
- High attention to detail, organization, and ownership mindset
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
