Responsibilities

- Partner with Risk Management to identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks within the Card Inbound Payments platform.
- Collaborate with Product Management and Technology teams to integrate effective controls into the design and development of new and existing payment features.
- Oversee the project management lifecycle for control-related initiatives, ensuring timely execution, clear communication, and adherence to quality standards.
- Drive the implementation of preventive controls to minimize risk events and improve operational efficiency.
- Manage projects related to payment modernization efforts, ensuring seamless transitions, robust control coverage, and minimal customer impact.
- Ensure projects comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies, maintaining a strong focus on compliance.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across various departments, including Risk, Product, Technology, Operations, Legal, and Compliance.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and project metrics to track progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Champion a culture of risk awareness and proactive problem-solving within the team and across stakeholder groups.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or military experience
- At least 4 years of Project Management experience
- At least 3 years of experience supporting, partnering or interacting with internal business clients
- At least 2 years of People Management experience
- Experience in the financial services industry, with a focus on payment operations, risk management, or compliance
- A strong understanding of payment processing, including relevant technologies and industry standards.
- Experience in designing, implementing, and monitoring controls within a complex operational environment.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with Risk, Product, and Technology teams
