About the role

  • **What You'll Do**
  • Develop and prepare actuarial analyses for rates and rating plans.
  • Recommend changes based on analytical findings.
  • Draft and manage regulatory filings, including follow-ups on inquiries or challenges.
  • Support the calculation of IBNR (incurred but not reported) loss reserves.
  • Contribute to special actuarial projects as assigned.
  • Assist in training and mentoring actuarial team members.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment with business objectives.

Requirements

  • **Requirements**
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Actuarial area.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science, Math, Statistics or correlated
  • Experience with Casualty and Property.
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, VBA, and Power BI.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Statistical background is a plus.
  • Commitment to continued professional development in actuarial science.
