About the role

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for the development of the annual 5-year financial plan
  • Advise senior leaders on planning targets and improvements
  • Design and enhance performance management approach
  • Thought leadership for incentive programs
  • Identify opportunities to streamline FP&A processes
  • Act as key finance business partner to operational leaders
  • Communicate financial concepts clearly to non-finance stakeholders
  • Mentor junior members of the team and oversee workload prioritization

Requirements

  • University degree in accounting, finance, economics, or related field
  • Professional designation (CPA, CFA) is an asset
  • 5-8 years of experience in FP&A, including at least 2 years in a leadership role
  • Experience in the financial sector, particularly life insurance and/or wealth management is considered an asset
  • Strong Microsoft Suite skills
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills
  • Proven ability to lead teams and influence senior stakeholders
