About the role
- Backoffice & Finance Specialist supporting financial operations for events at Dreamlight Labs. Handling bookkeeping, invoice management, and collaboration with internal teams in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of financial accounting: document management, preliminary checks, and reconciliations
- Invoice management: review of incoming invoices; preparation and execution of payments
- Support for payroll accounting: maintenance of master data, preparation of documents, communication with our payroll provider
- Controlling activities: assistance with the analysis of business performance indicators
- Forecast preparation: contribution to revenue, cost and profit forecasts in cooperation with the events team and management
- Liquidity monitoring: ongoing monitoring and assessment of the cash flow situation and involvement in liquidity planning
- General backoffice tasks: email management, contract filing & contract drafting, document organization
- Support for management: scheduling, research, and project organization
- Interface to tax advisors, external service providers, and internal teams
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional experience in financial accounting or a comparable commercial area
- Degree in an economics/business-related field or completed commercial vocational training
- Solid experience with DATEV Unternehmen Online
- Technical affinity and an understanding of digital processes and modern tools
- Excellent organizational skills and a structured, careful, and reliable working style
- Strong communication skills, discretion, and a sense of responsibility
- Proficient with office applications (e.g., Microsoft Office)
