Responsibilities
- Ship meaningful features quickly: Solve high-impact problems and deliver solutions using modern workflows—feature flags, CI/CD, automated testing, and AI-assisted coding.
- Focus on backend excellence: Design and scale APIs, services, and data flows that power our student experience.
- Improve how we work: Contribute to engineering best practices, refine our developer tooling, and shape processes that help the team scale effectively.
- Collaborate: Partner with Product, Design, and other engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions that align with top priorities.
- Solve challenging problems: From scaling backend systems to creating tools that support students and internal teams, your work will directly improve outcomes for learners.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of professional software engineering experience, with strong backend development skills.
- Experience with Python, Go, or similar is especially valuable; familiarity with React/React Native is a plus.
- Track record of building and releasing high-quality products or features at scale.
- You take ownership from design to deployment, balancing speed with maintainability.
- You’re motivated to deepen your craft, learn new technologies, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
