About the role
- Senior Analyst supporting Implementation Solutions Group at Callan, conducting due diligence, benchmarking, and research on investment solutions. Collaborating with teams to enhance operational efficiencies and client outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Support the team in conducting trust/custody due diligence searches
- Perform service and fee benchmarking studies
- Provide transition management support
- Research digital assets
- Offer consulting services to both retainer and non-retainer clients, solely on a project basis
- Help clients achieve Operational Alpha—efficiencies derived from enhanced investment structures, operational processes, and cost savings
- Manage projects alongside members of the Implementation Solutions Group as responsibilities increase
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in finance, economics, or a related discipline (we are also open to those with differing backgrounds and a strong interest in financial markets)
- 3-5 years of experience required, particularly in the investment industry
- Ability to collaborate effectively on cross-functional teams in a collegial fashion
- Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects efficiently
- Demonstrated ability to receive and integrate feedback
- Effective and professional communication, presentation, and writing skills, and the desire to continually learn and develop over time
- Excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines
- Build and maintain relationships internally and externally
- Advanced technical skills with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Familiarity with data analytics and artificial intelligence tools is a plus.
