Field Service Engineer for BWT, supervising inspections and maintenance of water treatment systems in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. Position allows for flexibility and nationwide travel across Germany.
Responsibilities
Perform inspections, maintenance, qualifications and calibrations on water treatment systems at our customers in the life sciences sector
Assist with maintenance work across Germany and, in some cases, abroad
Support system start-ups/commissioning
Troubleshoot and analyze electronic, hydraulic and pneumatic systems in a pharmaceutical environment
Prepare inspection and test reports as part of on-site assignments
Fully document all activities, including service reports and checklists
Requirements
Technical training (technician) or equivalent qualification; career changers are welcome
Ideally, experience servicing water treatment systems
Knowledge of automation is an advantage (S7, TIA Portal)
Experience with cGMP and GAMP desirable
High flexibility and willingness to travel and stay overnight during the week: assignments may be nationwide in Germany, but, where possible, they will be scheduled within the candidate's local area
Optional: willingness to travel worldwide
Good written and spoken English skills
