Responsibilities
- Functions as technical specialist and may supervise multi-discipline engineering staff on projects of medium to high complexity
- Proactively provides guidance and direction on department design guides, standards, systems, applicable engineering codes and B&V policies
- Prepares complex engineering calculations and deliverables for multiple or mega projects
- Develops and applies advanced engineering solutions to complex problems
- Manages assigned budget, schedule, and quality requirements
- Acts as the technical specialist in a broad area of specialization or a narrow but specialized field
- Reviews lower-level engineering work or assignments and assists in performance management
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from a recognized accredited program
- Minimum of 11 years related work experience
- Significant steel and reinforced concrete design at Power Plant and/or Industrial facilities
- Experience in Front End Design and Conceptual studies at Power Plant and/or Industrial facilities
- Experience writing technical and/or construction specifications
- Must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search
