About the role

  • Entry-level Structural Engineer at Black & Veatch contributing to critical infrastructure projects. Engaging in engineering deliverables, research, and data management while complying with quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Play a meaningful role in addressing critical infrastructure challenges
  • Contribute to preparation of engineering deliverables such as drawings, reports, specifications, and studies
  • Perform routine research and develop recommendations for equipment and/or materials selection
  • Collect, assimilate, and manage data for engineering work
  • Share information with others as requested

Requirements

  • Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program
  • All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected)
  • Familiarity with departmental design guides, standards, systems, applicable engineering codes
  • Understanding of the Black and Veatch quality program
  • Basic knowledge of engineering design principles and applicable design guides
