BOP Engineer providing maintenance and documentation support for wind turbine operations and ensuring equipment safety and compliance at Vestas. Role involves on-site work in Kutch, Gujarat.
Responsibilities
Attended to BOP-related breakdowns
Provide on-call maintenance; ensure WTGs and related equipment are maintained in neat and technically acceptable condition according to standard engineering practices
Document completed work, including the consumption of spares and consumables, and list further actions with targeted completion dates
Ensure personal safety, report any abnormalities to the site supervisor, and maintain HSE documents at the site level
Report abnormalities on OH (Overhead) lines and take corrective action after consultation; inform the supervisor of any issues that cannot be fixed immediately
Stay up-to-date with all operating/maintenance manuals, checklists, and service bulletins; carry out servicing activities according to the latest certified standards
Ensure the safety and proper care of all tools, tackles, measuring instruments, and spare parts in custody
Comply with all HSE, ISO, and other statutory requirements
Ensure the site office and warehouse are maintained in good condition; monitor the performance of security personnel and operators and report any non-compliance
Assist in the sub-assembly of WTG components at the factory premises whenever required
Requirements
BE / B-Tech in Electrical Engineering, completed full-time from a reputed college
A Gujarat Government Electrical Supervisor license is compulsory
Ability to read, comprehend and write English as well as the regional language
Ability to effectively participate in all training courses
Comfort working remotely with limited supervisory interaction
Effective follow-up & attention to detail
Tracking and ensuring that work is done as per schedule
