About the role

  • Director of IT leading enterprise systems and data strategies for BURGA's global growth and operational efficiency. Focus on integrations, cybersecurity, and strategic technology partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Lead BURGA’s enterprise IT strategy, ensuring systems, processes, and integrations support scalable operations across e-commerce, manufacturing, logistics, and finance.
  • Define and drive the enterprise systems roadmap together with business leaders, aligning technology initiatives with company priorities and growth plans.
  • Standardize IT processes, system governance, and integration practices across departments.
  • Ensure reliable system integrations and smooth data flows across key platforms.
  • Oversee data governance and master data consistency to ensure reliable KPIs, accurate reporting, and informed operational decision-making.
  • Manage technology vendors and external partners, balancing internal development with external solutions and ensuring strategic alignment.
  • Identify and implement automation and AI initiatives with measurable business impact.
  • Ensure cybersecurity, system reliability, and compliance frameworks across the organization.
  • Act as a strategic partner to business leaders, using technology to improve processes and enable centralized, scalable operations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience leading IT functions in companies operating complex system environments across ERP, e-commerce, manufacturing (MES), and logistics (WMS).
  • Strong understanding of system architecture, integrations, data flows, and APIs.
  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
  • Experience working with manufacturing and warehouse/logistics systems, with an understanding of operational workflows and system integrations.
  • Experience standardizing IT processes and improving cross-system integrations in growing organizations.
  • Knowledge of data governance, master data management, and KPI standardization.
  • Experience implementing automation or AI solutions with measurable business impact.
  • Ability to act as a strategic technology partner to business leaders, focusing on efficiency, scalability, and process improvement.
  • Experience managing IT teams, technology vendors, and external partners.
  • High level of ownership and accountability, with the ability to drive initiatives from strategy through implementation.
