About the role

  • Commissioning Engineer managing Instrumentation & Control projects for power plants and oil & gas. Involves DCS/PLC commissioning, troubleshooting, and ensuring ISA/IEC compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Instrumentation and Control commissioning for power plants or oil & gas.
  • Carry out DCS/PLC/SCADA commissioning, loop checking, and logic testing.
  • Work with field instruments including transmitters and control valves.
  • Ensure compliance with ISA/IEC standards and perform troubleshooting during start-up and performance testing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation/Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 5–7 years experience in Instrumentation & Control commissioning for power plants or oil & gas.
  • Proficient in DCS/PLC/SCADA commissioning, loop checking, logic testing, FRT, SAT/IBT.
  • Experienced with field instruments: transmitters, control valves, analyzers, sensors.
  • Strong understanding of P&ID, Cause & Effect, logic diagrams, and instrument index.
  • Familiar with ISA/IEC standards related to instrumentation and control systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting capability during start-up and performance testing.
