About the role

  • Commissioning Engineer specializing in boiler systems at Bureau Veritas. Responsible for hydrotests and compliance with ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code.

Responsibilities

  • Commissioning of boilers (Pulverized, CFB, or HRSG).
  • Conduct hydrotest, flushing/chemical cleaning, boiler light-up, steam blowing, and reliability run.
  • Work with boiler auxiliary systems: fans, pumps, burners, air heaters, feedwater systems, etc.
  • Ensure compliance with ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code.
  • Troubleshoot system disturbances and read operational parameters.
  • Coordinate with vendors & OEMs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
  • Minimum 8–10 years experience in commissioning of boilers (Pulverized, CFB, or HRSG).
  • Skilled in hydrotest, flushing/chemical cleaning, boiler light-up, steam blowing, and reliability run.
  • Familiar with boiler auxiliary systems: fans, pumps, burners, air heaters, feedwater systems, etc.
  • Understanding of ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code.
  • Strong ability to read operational parameters and troubleshoot system disturbances.
  • Experience coordinating with vendors & OEMs.
