Responsibilities
Perform high volume of data entry work for received samples
Accurate input and updating of existing records, within the LIMS system
Troubleshooting problems with incoming samples
Work with customers to resolve discrepancies/issues
Assist answering telephones and routing calls
Filing and sorting of documents
Assist in sample receiving area as needed
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required
Internships and research experience will be considered
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees
Ability to do some Basic Math
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
