  • Social Media Manager for BurdaLuxury developing strategies for Lifestyle Asia and Prestige in Hong Kong. Oversee brand social channels and engagement, requiring strong content creation skills and social media experience.

Responsibilities

  • BurdaLuxury Hong Kong is searching for an enthusiastic individual with a talent and passion for social media to create an attractive presence for Lifestyle Asia Hong Kong and Prestige Hong Kong.
  • The role includes producing best-in-class social media strategies that deliver outstanding results, grow the social media accounts and work effectively within the parameters of the social media process.
  • Own and set social media content strategy for assigned brands, with accountability for performance, growth, and brand alignment
  • Lead cross-platform social planning, defining content direction, priorities, and calendars in line with editorial, marketing, and events
  • Oversee day-to-day management of brand social channels across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and secondary platforms
  • Analyse, report, and act on social performance insights to continuously optimise content and results
  • Act as the key social lead across editorial, marketing, and events teams, guiding execution and alignment
  • Direct and oversee event-related social coverage, including live updates and post-event storytelling
  • Set standards for social copy, formats, templates, and short-form video, remaining hands-on where needed
  • Stay ahead of platform trends, competitor activity, and new tools to drive experimentation and improvement
  • Oversee community engagement approach and occasional on-camera participation for content creation

Requirements

  • At least 3 + years of experience in social media management
  • Preferably a relevant educational background in Marketing, Digital Marketing and Communications
  • Experienced in social media strategies, content planning, content ideation, performance analysis on key platforms Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.– budgeting is a plus
  • A passion for writing engaging and creative social media content
  • An understanding of our brands competitor landscape and peer social media communities
  • Experience using social analytics and content creation tools (Hootsuite, Emplifi , Brandwatch , etc.)
  • Great time management, attention to detail, multi-tasking skills and excellent project management skills to drive a collaborative work process
  • Results-driven mindset and confidence in presentation skills
  • Native-level English fluency essential
  • Awareness of trends, news and what’s buzzworthy
  • Excellent writing and copy - editing skills, as well as a creative tone-of-voice that captures the voice of the brand and engages the audience
  • Confidence to work independently and productively as a member of a collaborative team
  • Full of passion, energy and enthusiasm and eager to work in a fast-paced environment
