Responsibilities
Develop and implement the strategic vision and roadmap for the procurement program, aligning with organizational goals and objectives.
Lead a team of procurement specialists, analysts, and project managers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to achieve program objectives.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, including finance, legal, operations, IT and risk stakeholders, to ensure alignment and collaboration on procurement initiatives.
Lead cross-functional initiatives to streamline procurement workflows, improve operational effectiveness, and enhance the overall performance of the procurement function.
Develop and maintain procurement performance metrics, dashboards, and scorecards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and measure program effectiveness.
Identify opportunities for process automation and technology solutions to enhance procurement operations and drive innovation.
Lead strategic sourcing and supplier management activities, including vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management, to achieve cost savings and ensure supplier performance as it applies.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement program, leveraging tools.
Requirements
Strong understanding of procurement processes, procedures, governance and best practices, with demonstrated experience in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier management.
Extensive experience leading cross-functional teams and driving change management initiatives in a complex organizational environment.
Proficiency in procurement systems and tools, such as ERP software, financial systems, procurement platforms, and contract management systems.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights to support decision-making.
Proven ability to develop and implement strategic initiatives to optimize procurement operations and achieve organizational objectives.
Demonstrated leadership abilities, including team management, coaching, and development.
Demonstrated experience deploying procure-to-pay/supply chain processes to contracts and spend categories.
Demonstrated experience leading large complex projects.
