Responsibilities
- Responsible for requirements reviews and analysis
- Create test concepts, test specifications and test scenarios for complex systems
- Design test environments and support system integration
- Develop and optimize testing methods and procedures
- Execute and document integration, system, load and performance tests
- Perform fault analysis in collaboration with system architects and developers
- Provide technical leadership for multiple System Test Engineers
- Ensure requirements and test coverage of deliverables
- Risk management, prioritization and coordination of testing tasks
Requirements
- University degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or a comparable qualification, plus relevant practical experience
- Desirable: Certified Tester certification (Foundation & Advanced Level)
- Extensive experience in specifying, executing and documenting tests, especially for microservices (containerized applications) and web services (REST, SOAP)
- Practical experience with component, acceptance, integration, load and stress testing, as well as transport, encryption and authorization certificates and biometrics for electronic identities
- Strong technical understanding of complex systems, ideally in the backend and identity (ID) domain, and experience with common test frameworks and tools (e.g., SoapUI, Postman, JMeter)
- Confident working knowledge of Git/GitLab and basic knowledge of Splunk, Checkmk, Grafana and Prometheus
- Desirable: basic knowledge of scripting and programming languages (Java, JavaScript, Python)
- Fluent written and spoken German at minimum C1 level
