About the role
- (Senior) Solution Architect responsible for developing IT architecture and secure digital solutions. Engaging with stakeholders in a collaborative environment in Bonn, Germany.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the ongoing development of the IT architecture
- Conducting requirements analyses and producing technical documentation and frameworks
- Designing architectures for highly secure and highly available private cloud infrastructures and performing feasibility analyses (PoC), including deriving concrete recommendations for action
- Coordinating with all involved stakeholders, advocating architecture proposals, and ensuring the established architecture is upheld in the production environment
- Advising and supporting domain architecture teams and project teams with respect to technical developments
Requirements
- Completed IT vocational training (e.g., IT specialist / Fachinformatiker) or a degree in computer science/IT
- Proven hands-on experience designing IT architectures and developing complex technical solutions with a high protection/security level
- Solid generalist IT knowledge, particularly regarding current technologies and technology trends
- Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructures and good knowledge of networking, storage, PKI, and information and communication technologies
- Experience in regulated environments and familiarity with relevant standards/regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, BSI C5) desirable
- Strong communication skills, team spirit, and an independent, structured working style
