About the role

Responsibilities
- Design, deployment and operation of on-premises infrastructures (private cloud, KVM) with a high level of protection
- Ensuring stable and uninterrupted system operation
- Securing the deployed technology stack through appropriate security measures and hardening
- Monitoring of supported services to comply with agreed system availability and to enable proactive troubleshooting and prevention
- Development and implementation of best-practice guidelines within the area of responsibility
- Provisioning and adaptation of environments for testing and integrating new or updated products and technologies
- Automation of all tasks using orchestration and configuration tools
Requirements
- Completed IT vocational training (e.g., IT specialist) or a degree in Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience
- Professional experience with secure virtualized infrastructures and common virtualization solutions, and strong knowledge of private cloud technologies
- Hands-on experience in provisioning and operating Linux systems and supporting infrastructure and application monitoring solutions (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus)
- Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code technologies (e.g., Ansible)
- Team player with openness to new technologies and projects and enthusiasm for using open-source tools
