About the role
- Test Manager overseeing testing activities for a leading life insurance and wealth management group's mobile and online services. Responsible for test strategy, execution, and stakeholder communication.
Responsibilities
- Define, maintain, and own the overall test planning and approach for OSC and Mobile Application releases.
- Apply risk based testing principles to prioritise testing effort on areas of highest business and technical impact.
- Plan, estimate, and coordinate testing activities across SIT, UAT, regression testing, and mobile OS release cycles.
- Ensure consistency and compliance with agreed test processes, standards, and documentation.
- Provide end to end oversight of SIT and UAT execution, including defect triage, prioritisation, and resolution.
- Coordinate testing across multiple platforms, workstreams, and internal and external delivery partners.
- Ensure test environment readiness and alignment with delivery and release timelines.
- Produce clear, accurate test reporting via Xray and TestRail, providing visibility of progress, quality status, and delivery risks.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in a Test Management or Test Delivery leadership role.
- Strong experience using Azure DevOps for test planning, execution, and delivery tracking.
- Experience testing integrated systems, including REST and SOAP APIs.
- Proven experience managing SIT and UAT phases, including defect triage and stakeholder reporting.
- Hands on experience leading mobile testing across iOS and Android ecosystems (TestFlight, Google Play internal testing).
- Strong understanding of test automation frameworks, scripting principles, and test optimisation.
- Experience using test management tools such as Xray and TestRail.
