About the role

  • Supply Chain Analyst optimizing logistics operations and managing client demand for Argos Global Partner. Responsible for planning materials and ensuring efficient supply chain processes.

Responsibilities

  • Demand and customer order management: analysis of demand and supply planning, issuance and sending of purchase orders and forecasts to suppliers;
  • Logistics and Purchasing back-office: updating expected delivery dates, purchase order and sales order statuses in the system, completing information required for execution of receiving processes at our business unit warehouses and third-party warehouses, opening pickup requests with suppliers, opening advance payment requests, etc.;
  • Follow-up on purchase order deliveries with international (including regular phone calls and meetings in English) and domestic suppliers, negotiating lead time improvements, providing feedback and keeping customers updated on delivery forecasts;
  • Quotation, contracting and arrangement of inbound and outbound transport pickups, preparation of shipping instructions, validation of documentation for scheduling supplier payments;
  • Selection, quoting, invoice validation and operational monitoring of third-party warehouses;
  • Conducting specific and corporate communications with clients and suppliers, including support for parameter updates (e.g., lead time);
  • Issuance and verification of all documents pertinent to the area: Order Confirmation, Proforma Invoice, Commercial Invoice, Sample Invoice, Delivery Note, Packing List, Air Waybill and Bill of Lading, Letter of Credit, etc.;
  • Participation in continuous improvement and process standardization initiatives;
  • Support in the Foreign Trade area, when requested, for cost assessments and import simulations for new and ongoing projects, as well as related activities;
  • Updating reports and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs).

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree completed in Administrative areas, Logistics, Engineering, Foreign Trade or related fields;
  • Experience in material planning processes;
  • Excel skills: intermediate to advanced;
  • Intermediate to advanced English required for meetings; Spanish is a plus;
