About the role

  • Event Operations Assistant supporting the logistics and operation of OLLI programs at Bradley University. Focused on customer service and volunteer coordination with an engaging community role.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the seamless execution of OLLI programming
  • Serve as the operational lead and primary troubleshooter for OLLI special events and fundraisers
  • Support volunteer engagement by helping organize volunteer roles
  • Contribute to marketing and outreach by capturing event moments
  • Assist the Executive Director and Program Director with special projects
  • Coordinate with administrative staff for clear communication of program details

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven customer service experience
  • Demonstrated reliability and punctuality
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in an event-driven environment
  • Ability to work early mornings and evenings
  • Ability to drive a 14-passenger shuttle or multi-passenger van
  • Strong technology skills with event equipment
  • Strong situational awareness and decision-making skills
  • Physical ability to support event operations
  • Comfort using registration systems and communication platforms
  • Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Basic writing and content editing skills
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite
