About the role

  • Quality Assurance employee conducting product checks and ensuring quality standards at a leading German bakery manufacturer. Engaging in microbiological controls and preparing for certification audits.

Responsibilities

  • Perform product inspections and document findings
  • Support incoming goods inspection for raw materials and packaging materials
  • Conduct microbiological checks
  • Actively participate in sensory evaluation of bread
  • Carry out hygiene inspections and verify compliance with standards
  • Support implementation of quality standards
  • Assist in preparation for certification audits

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training, preferably in the food sector
  • Professional experience in quality assurance
  • Initial experience in hygiene and microbiology
  • Good MS Office skills
  • Desirable: experience with SAP
  • Knowledge of certification standards (IFS) and HACCP is ideal
  • Hands-on approach and ability to work independently
  • Commitment and strong communication skills
