Responsibilities
- Responsible for procuring external goods and services for large, long-term projects.
- Ensure optimal supply and develop sustainable procurement strategies.
- Manage the supplier portfolio and develop supplier strategies.
- Coordinate collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient implementation.
- Evaluate and classify suppliers, and conduct price and contract negotiations.
- Contribute expertise in cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Degree in business administration, (industrial) engineering, public administration, or a comparable field with a commercial or technical focus.
- Several years of experience in strategic procurement, ideally in the construction and infrastructure sector.
- Knowledge of project management, process optimization, negotiation techniques, and EU procurement law, as well as experience using IT solutions in procurement.
- Excellent German and English skills, strong commitment, empathy, and leadership/team management abilities.
- Willingness to travel approximately 3 days per week.
