About the role
- Category Manager driving category growth in Findus, focusing on data analysis and market insights. Collaborating with internal teams and major Finnish retailers for strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Turn data into insights that guide strategic and commercial decisions for Findus and our retail customers
- Analyze market, consumer and sales data, identify growth opportunities and translate findings into clear recommendations
- Work closely with Key Account Managers, Finance, Marketing and Nordic Category teams
- Support collaboration directly with major Finnish retailers
- Maintain monthly reporting and provide clear sales, market and consumer insights
- Lead category development work for retail business, including a new local category vision
- Identify key growth opportunities and how to unlock them
- Support external sells with data-driven trade stories and recommendations
- Contribute to assortment planning and promotion evaluations
- Ensure accurate product information and carry out post-launch reviews
- Collaborate with Nordic colleagues to share learnings and harmonize ways of working
Requirements
- Degree in business, analytics, statistics or similar
- Experience in data analytics within FMCG or retail
- Strong skills in Excel and analytics tools (Power BI, Analyse2)
- At least 4 years of work experience from a similar position as well as a sales role, e.g. as key account manager in FMCG
- Fluency in Finnish and English verbally and in writing
- Ability to translate complex data into clear commercial insights
