Responsibilities
Manage the project's strategic drivers and process, balance and outcome indicators, monitoring progress toward project targets; provide methodological support in designing and developing action plans for the support team and hospitals assisted by the project.
Develop guidance and educational materials for trainings and for internal and external discussions with stakeholders to ensure knowledge management.
Coordinate activities using methodological tools to provide engagement and methodological and technical alignment with participating hospitals; coordinate projects and high-complexity operational excellence initiatives aimed at improving quality, efficiency, and safety in PROADI-SUS internal processes.
Conduct monitoring and situational diagnostic visits to participating institutions, and prepare reports, visit minutes, and attendance lists.
Prepare situational reports to support project management in strategic discussions with governance bodies, contributing to more informed decision-making.
Provide technical and methodological support alongside peers in care processes and quality management at participating hospitals, contributing to project deliverables.
Produce performance reports with situational diagnostic analyses of the results and processes of hospitals monitored by the project, contributing to effective accountability to the Ministry of Health.
Coordinate continuing education activities for the team, especially regarding continuous improvement methodologies, contributing to the dissemination of knowledge among project participants.
Develop strategies using continuous improvement tools to enhance the performance of the project's internal and external teams.
Facilitate Kaizen improvement events aimed at achieving quality gains in a short timeframe and lead cross-functional teams from the involved areas.
Set targets and key indicators together with leadership, defining the results and gains to be achieved for each project.
Provide consultancy to PROADI-SUS's continuous improvement and management program (Program to Support Institutional Development of Brazil's Unified Health System) in partnership with the Ministry of Health, with the goal of guiding and training healthcare professionals in Lean Six Sigma methodology.
Requirements
EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree completed, preferably in Nursing.
SPECIALIZATION: Required: Completed specialization; Lean Six Sigma training – Yellow Belt and/or Green Belt. Preferred: Agile methodology courses and an MBA.
KNOWLEDGE: Intermediate to advanced Excel required; advanced knowledge of process development and improvement methodologies (such as Lean Six Sigma, Design Thinking, Agile, PMI) is a plus.
EXPERIENCE: Experience with indicators, strategy, or project feasibility studies.
