Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust Python script
- Utilize Cucumber / Gherkin for behavior-driven development to create clear and concise test scenarios
- Experience with tools like Git, Jira, or an equivalent for version control and project tracking
- Experience with test frameworks to design, implement, and execute comprehensive testing solutions
- Create, plan, and execute a test cycle
- Analyze program requirements to develop new, effective test cases that ensure comprehensive coverage of functionalities
- Document software bugs with appropriate information for analysis (environment information, data logs, etc.)
- Communicate with multifunctional skill teams including software engineers, systems engineers, and hardware engineers
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in writing Software Test Plans (STP), Software Test Descriptions (STD), and Software Test Reports (STR)
- 5+ years of experience with scripting languages such as Perl or Python
- 3+ years of experience with Quality Automation Tools (ex. Selenium, Cucumber, LoadRunner)
- Experience with Ethernet Network Data Buses
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
- 1+ years of experience with MIL-STD-1553 and/or MIL-STD-1760 communication protocols
- Active Secret Clearance
- Familiarization with hardware and network architecture including server and client environments
- Familiarization with military aircraft flightline operations
- C# experience or familiarity with Ranorex for automated testing
