About the role
- System Design and Integration Specialist at Boeing coordinating complex network programs for WAN and LAN. Acting as liaison among stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring project success.
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and deliver complex network programs, including Wide Area Network (WAN) and Local Area Network (LAN) projects
- Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, network engineering and architecture, security teams, vendors, and operations
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, success criteria and acceptance with stakeholders
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, resource allocations and budgets
- Lead cross-functional technical teams through design, build, testing, cutover and hand over
- Organize and facilitate technical design reviews, pre-production testing, pilot deployments and User Acceptance
- Create and own detailed cutover/runbook and rollback plans
- Identify, track and mitigate risks and issues; escalate as required
- Manage Vendor SOW (Statement of Work), facility requirements, performance and escalations
- Enforce delivery SLAs (Service Level Agreements)
- Lead post-implementation reviews, capture lessons learned and implement continuous improvement
- Communicate across multiple teams and organizations to effectively articulate business goals and objectives
- Ensure compliance with security, regulatory and corporate policies during project lifecycle
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with Design, Implementation and Troubleshooting of Local Area Networks (LAN) and Wide Area Networks (WAN)
- 5+ years of experience with designing and implementing large scale network architectures, including complex routing and switching configurations
- 5+ years of experience leading and partnering with cross-functional teams, involving key stakeholder relationship management
- 5+ years of experience translating business requirements into technical specifications
- 10 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
