About the role
- Senior Supply Chain Category Analyst responsible for supply chain category strategies across Boeing Global Services. Analyzing data and informing sourcing activities through collaboration within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Structures data in an organized way, identifies issues and risks, analyzes data inside and outside Boeing to develop alternatives
- Tracks progress through KPIs, enabling Category Managers and leadership to understand issues and track progress
- Designs, extracts, analyzes and prepares reports
- Analyzes and synthesizes procurement data, including spend, part classification, supply chain planning / forecasting, cost performance, delivery performance, quality performance, etc.
- Develops, analyzes and maintains processes, tools, information and industry best practices in support of Category Management and procurement processes
- Informs sourcing activities including strategic sourcing, alternate / dual sourcing, and part qualification
- Assists in developing new sources / manufacturers, conducting capability assessments
- Collaborates with Boeing Commercial (BCA) and Boeing Defense (BDS)
Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Planning, or Operations data analysis
- 3+ years’ experience utilizing reporting tools such as Tableau, Teradata, OnDemand, Spotfire, OBIE, or Cognos
- Ability to travel domestically to support business and team requirements (approximately 10%)
