- Leading Boeing’s SAM strategy by establishing a clear governance framework

- Maintaining strong oversight of licensing and entitlement data
- Building trust and alignment with teams across the enterprise and external vendors
- Coordinating communication and driving shared accountability to support broader business goals
- Developing and building an end-to-end SAM governance function supported by standardized policies, procedures and tools in a matrixed environment
- Monitoring and tracking license expirations, renewals, and usage metrics to ensure compliance and business continuity
- Collaborating with Procurement, IT, Security teams and others to support software acquisition and renewal processes
- Providing reporting and insights into license utilization, gaps, and optimization opportunities
- Responding to internal audits, vendor audits, and compliance assessments
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in IT Asset Management (ITAM), Software Asset Management (SAM), IT Security, or related IT operational roles
- 5+ years of experience in a managerial role
- 3+ years of experience in general software licensing models (e.g., perpetual, subscription, user/device-based, SaaS, concurrent, etc.) and vendor terms (e.g., Microsoft, Oracle, Adobe, etc.)
- Experience working with ITAM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Flexera, etc.)
- Experience working in a cross-functional environment with all levels in the business from individual contributors to executive leadership
