Responsibilities
- Provide support across BGS Business with a focus on metric development & automation, report creation, and key data insights.
- Analyze source data and define data mapping specifications.
- Document data sources and definitions by business unit.
- Design and implement data transformation processes to ensure data quality and integrity.
- Implement data quality checks and validation processes to ensure accuracy and consistency of integrated data.
- Utilize analytic platforms like Tableau and Power BI to create automated metrics and dashboards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure metrics align with business objectives and reporting standards.
- Work closely with director analysts, data architects, IT, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and integration needs.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Procurement Data Analysis
- 3+ years of experience developing reports and insights utilizing reporting/data analytical/business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Spotfire, Power BI and Maximo
- 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance
- 3+ years of experience as a proven leader with strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of government business processes and regulations
- Familiarity with SQL and data integration tools
- Experience in process improvement methodologies
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Information Technology, or a related field
