About the role

  • Employee Development Manager at Boeing overseeing curriculum development for manufacturing teams. Leading training initiatives, team assessments, and driving employee satisfaction across various locations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a group of learning program managers to analyze, design, develop and implement curriculum for manufacturing teams across the enterprise.
  • Prepare and present executive-level reports on training program effectiveness and recommendations for continuous improvement to leadership.
  • Promote employee recognition and build a departmental culture that enhances employee satisfaction and retains a skilled and motivated workforce.
  • Oversee the design and development of training programs that align with organizational goals and employee development needs.
  • Lead and conduct assessments to identify production training needs and gaps within the company.
  • Oversee the creation of engaging and effective learning materials, including a variety of modalities, workshops, and instructional guides.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and evaluation of training programs, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Work closely with business leaders to ensure training programs meet the needs of the business unit/organization.
  • Measure the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics; provide reports to stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in learning and development.

Requirements

  • 3+ years leading projects and/or programs
  • 3+ years of experience in adult learning and development
  • 3+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal role
  • 1+ years of experience within the aviation or the airline industry
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Proven experience in program management, instructional design, or training and development
  • Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS)
