Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and assessing program requirements
- Integrate activities of other employees to accomplish program objectives
- Manage scope of work for program activities and interaction with connected sites
- Work on project management for multiple activities and prioritization
- Identify resources needed for successful accomplishment
- Work on Network Design, equipment procurement, configuration, installation
- Ensure programs have a secure communications network
- Support security activities such as US government Risk Management Framework (RMF) Compliance
- Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with customers and peers
- Act as initial point of escalation for issues encountered by the team
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience with Cisco routers and switches & Cisco IOS implementations
- 1+ years of experience with Design, Implementation and Troubleshooting of Local Area Networks (LAN) and Wide Area Networks (WAN)
- 1+ years of experience utilizing Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) network protocols
- Bachelor's degree or higher preferred
- Experience with Palo Alto next generation firewall systems, network monitoring systems, and AAA/RADIUS/TACACS+
- Experience with Encryptors
- Experience with DNS/DHCP/IPAM
- Department of Defense (DoD) 8570 certification (Security+ preferred)
- CCNA, CCNP or other Cisco Certification
