About the role
- Intern supporting Digital Twin engineering at BMW Group in Munich and hybrid setup, engaging in international collaboration and IT processes.
Responsibilities
- You will support a cross-functional, internationally operating and motivated team based in Munich, with a hybrid work setup.
- Gain insight into the processes and IT systems of the BMW Group and into international collaboration with teams at the BMW Group IT hub in South Africa.
- Contribute to the company-wide development of the Digital Twin for the BMW Group.
- Support analysis and optimization of interfaces to other digitization projects.
- Help design internal meetings and workshops.
- Organize a one-week on-site placement at a production line, if interested.
Requirements
- Enrolled in a degree program in (Business) Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, (Business) Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable field.
- Strong willingness to learn and engage with complex and dynamic subject areas.
- Affinity for digitalization and vehicle technology.
- Proficient in MS Office, especially PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
- Initial experience in Machine Learning is desirable.
- Experience with agile methods and tools such as JIRA and Confluence is desirable.
- Good German and English skills.
