About the role

Senior Consultant focused on Requirements Engineering and agile project management at MID. Collaborating on IT-related projects and developing sustainable solutions for clients' needs.

Responsibilities

Participate in varied IT-related projects
Support our clients in analyzing issues and develop tailored, sustainable solution strategies for individual development projects, and together with software development assess the feasibility of requirements
Elicit and manage requirements (requirements analysis / requirements engineering) and prepare functional specifications
Review functional requirements for testability and create functional test concepts for custom software or adaptations of standard software for our clients
Take responsibility for the correct functional implementation of requirements
Analyze and design business processes and identify opportunities for improvement
Support the entire development process as the interface between the client and the development team
Create process descriptions, diagrams, use cases, user stories and epics, and maintain the backlog
Contribute your expertise in business process management when modeling processes

You have a degree in (business) computer science, a natural science, or another program with an IT and/or computer science focus
You are a professional in requirements engineering and have experience with tools such as DOORS, Innovator or similar
You have very good knowledge of process and data modeling (e.g. UML, BPMN 2.0 or ARIS)
You hold relevant certifications such as IREB® Certified Professional for Requirements Engineering and/or CARS® Certified Agile Requirements Specialist or similar
You are used to working independently, enjoy working in an agile team, and are familiar with agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban
You also stand out for your strong analytical and conceptual skills
You have excellent communication skills, creativity and social competence
You are fluent in German, both written and spoken, and can communicate in English when required
Occasional business travel within Germany is not a problem for you
