Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the technology strategy for the Private Payroll-Deductible Loans vertical, aligned with business objectives and corporate IT guidelines.
  • Act as an executive leader in digital transformation, balancing continuous innovation and operational stability.
  • Represent the Technology area in executive forums as a reference in software engineering, digital transformation and innovation.
  • Lead evolution and maintenance efforts, ensuring high availability, performance, resilience and quality.
  • Drive technology modernization initiatives, including cloud, microservices, APIs, automation and legacy decoupling.
  • Ensure excellence in technical and functional observability, monitoring, incident management and production service continuity.
  • Scale and consolidate the Business Agility model, promoting agile practices, multidisciplinary collaboration and frequent value delivery, partnering with the respective Business Owner as the IT counterpart.
  • Ensure agile governance, prioritization based on business value and efficiency across the development and maintenance lifecycle.
  • Drive practical adoption of Artificial Intelligence to modernize and accelerate refactoring of legacy systems; automate development, testing and operations processes; and increase engineering team productivity and quality.
  • Partner with Data & Analytics to enable strategic use of information for business, risk and regulatory compliance.
  • Work closely with Information Security and Cybersecurity to ensure risk mitigation, data protection and business continuity.
  • Ensure governance and regulatory compliance, meeting standards and requirements such as the Central Bank (Bacen), INSS and other agreements.
  • Ensure adherence to architecture, security, quality and audit standards.
  • Lead and develop multidisciplinary teams (software engineering, QA, business analysis, SRE and production support).
  • Develop leaders, successors and a talent pipeline.
  • Manage strategic vendors and technology partners, ensuring contractual efficiency, delivery quality and continuous innovation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree completed, preferably in Technology or related fields.
  • Proven experience in an executive Technology position in financial institutions or highly regulated environments.
  • Deep knowledge of Payroll-Deductible Loans, Core Banking, Operations and Regulatory matters.
  • Hands-on experience in legacy system modernization, technology migration and architectural transformation.
  • Strong experience in Business Agility, with work in large and complex environments.
  • Demonstrated experience adopting Artificial Intelligence applied to software engineering; process automation; and improving productivity and operational efficiency.
  • Solid knowledge of scalable and secure systems architecture.
  • Familiarity with on-premises and cloud infrastructure, including technical and functional observability.
  • Mastery of data governance, information security and regulatory compliance.
  • Proven capability to lead large multidisciplinary teams.
  • Degree in IT, Engineering or related areas; MBA or specialization in management/technology is a plus.
  • Advanced English is desirable.
