About the role

  • Event Coordinator at BLAST managing operational elements for arena events globally. Supporting planning and delivery for high-profile esports tournaments in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support Event team members with pre-event planning and coordination for large-scale arena events worldwide
  • Assist the Event Manager on-site with operational delivery, including accreditation management, catering coordination, and ground transportation logistics
  • Research, secure, and manage hotel accommodations for crew, talent, and teams - including room block negotiations, rooming list management, check-in/check-out scheduling, special requests, and last-minute amendments
  • Oversee on-site catering operations for crew and teams, including vendor liaison, menu planning, dietary requirement management, scheduling, and on-the-day setup
  • Raise and manage purchase orders (POs) and process invoices for the Events Department, ensuring accurate budget tracking and financial compliance
  • Provide flexible, ad hoc support across the Events team as required to ensure seamless event delivery

Requirements

  • Experience delivering live events (esports experience highly desirable).
  • Demonstrated expertise in budget management and cost control. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in fast-paced environments.
  • Coordinate and oversee travel and transportation logistics for players and crew.
  • Solutions-focused mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities. Build and maintain effective cross-functional relationships, including collaboration with teams based in the Copenhagen office.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to quickly develop in-depth knowledge of the esports industry, brand, and product portfolio.
  • Willingness and ability to work from the London office.
  • Flexibility to travel internationally and support global events**
