About the role
- Communications Officer for Bioland managing internal and external communication. Writing for diverse channels and organizing events to enhance the brand presence while promoting sustainable agriculture.
Responsibilities
- You will actively shape the Bioland Association's communications and ensure our messages are clear and effective—both internally and externally.
- Write editorial texts for internal and external communication channels (print & web).
- Independently conceive, produce and send press invitations, press releases and newsletters.
- Handle press enquiries and internal communication.
- Research, coordinate and manage distribution lists of journalists and freelancers.
- Organize and carry out events.
- Participate in educational and administrative areas.
- Further develop the Bioland Association's communications work.
Requirements
- University degree in PR/communications or a comparable qualification.
- Alternatively, several years of successful practical experience in journalism.
- Strong command of written German.
- High affinity for Bioland’s organic farming as well as agricultural and agri-policy topics.
- Experience with or openness to AI-optimized workflows.
- Interest in new media and digital trends.
- Knowledge of photography and video (moving image) is an advantage.
- Occasional willingness to travel.
