About the role
- Triage Clinician managing crisis calls and resources at Lawrence Community Behavioral Health Center. Providing procedural support and liaising with various providers to ensure quality of care.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the smooth function of services as the person in charge of triaging calls
- Provides procedural direction and support to crisis clinicians and supportive staff
- Maintains awareness of activity of active and pending cases
- Provides assistance to clinicians with bed searches, insurance verifications/authorizations
- Serves as primary liaison between the organization and other providers
- Accesses administrator on call and psychiatry on call when needed
- Collects and records data and statistics for various reporting needs
Requirements
- Master’s degree in a related field required
- Bilingual Candidates encouraged to apply (not required)
- Must achieve effective outcomes
- Effective communication and organizational skills
- Working knowledge of computers
- Ability to complete documentation electronically and timely
