About the role

  • Senior Facilities Project Manager coordinating planning, design, and construction of facilities projects at Beth Israel Lahey Health. Ensuring project scope and budget compliance while managing teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates, facilitates and supervises the planning, design and construction of capital facilities projects.
  • Works with Facilities management team and/or directly with medical center senior management to develop conceptual design.
  • Participates with Department Management, senior administrators and User Representatives in project program planning.
  • Reviews all project-related documents from design to construction documents/shop drawings.
  • Manages design consultants, construction contractors and vendors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
  • 8-10 years related work experience required.
  • 15-20 years of construction management experience is acceptable in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience in construction project management with a working knowledge of all phases of capital project implementation including planning, design, construction, start-up and closeout.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Project required.
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft applications which may include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Access and other web-based applications.
