About the role
- Participation in day-to-day activities with guidance from more senior engineers
- Active contributor of the scrum team
- Designing efficient algorithms and implementing those in code for supporting the entire SDLC, including source control management and delivery pipelines
- Development of back-end services to support Pokerstars accounts ecosystem.
- Review and investigate production issues
- Provide development status updates to various stakeholders
Requirements
- Good knowledge of Java
- Entry level knowledge of Spring and related technology stack
- Understanding of the modern web architectural patterns, knowledge of technologies like HTTP(S), REST and WebSocket
- Entry level knowledge of microservices architecture
- Entry level knowledge of SQL scripting language
- Exposure to front-end languages such as HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus
- Exposure to JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular is a plus
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, attention to details, ability to work with a remote team in a highly flexible remote environment
- Good English
