About the role

  • Manager Indirect Procurement leading strategic sourcing projects for EMEA at Belden. Develop and implement procurement strategies while collaborating internationally.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and continuously evolve the Indirect Procurement Roadmap for EMEA
  • Lead strategic sourcing projects across key indirect categories to consolidate suppliers
  • Build and maintain robust spend visibility and data-driven analytical models
  • Establish and manage regional contract frameworks balancing global leverage with local market needs
  • Champion and embed a proactive procurement culture
  • Benchmark, evaluate, and implement best-in-class procurement tools
  • Full ownership of the strategic direction and execution of the indirect procurement roadmap for EMEA
  • Design, implement, and manage all contracting frameworks for indirect categories across EMEA
  • Establish and manage data-driven spend visibility and comprehensive supplier performance management systems
  • Initiate and lead category development projects yielding measurable business impact

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 7+ years of relevant professional experience in procurement or strategic sourcing within a global or multinational organization
  • At least 3+ years of proven leadership experience
  • Strong hands-on experience with SAP (e.g., MM, Ariba or similar procurement modules)
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Solid experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools and data-driven decision-making
  • Deep understanding of indirect procurement categories and processes in an international context
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); Additional major European languages are a plus
