Director of Amazon and Marketplace leading growth and operational execution for Beauty Industry Group's eCommerce portfolio. Managing Amazon strategies and cross-functional partnerships to drive revenue and profitability.
Responsibilities
Partner with eCommerce to translate growth goals into Amazon strategies through operating plans, roadmaps, and operational excellence
Own the end to end marketplace strategy with a primary focus in Amazon
Serve as the primary owner of the Amazon relationships and dynamics that ladder up to overall brand strategies and P&L needs.
Ensure synergies and close alignment with DTC eCommerce for a balance growth with distinct annual revenue and profitability targets within marketplace channels
Own the Amazon P&L, tracking revenue, contribution margin, ad spend and fees
Partner closely with shared service teams and build strong cross functional alignment on Amazon strategy and role of sales channel
Manage the strategy for product mix, pricing, promotions and inventory forecasts and buys
Own category and brand ranking, organic visibility and share of voice within Amazon platform
Primary driver for vendor negotiations and agencies to support the Amazon Channel
Monitor the category and competitive landscape within channel to identify risks or opportunities and ready to translate into actions to execute against
Provide business reporting to stakeholders and executive readouts for weekly, monthly, and quarterly channel performance reviews
Own the performance reporting that includes revenue, margin, ad spend efficiency and inventory
Leverage data insights to identify and translate into actions with opportunities and watch outs
Experience in building demand forecasts in collaboration with Demand teams.
Requirements
8-10 years of Amazon and Marketplace experience
Prior experience optimizing for Marketplace, required in beauty or fashion
Experience optimizing Marketplace channels cross functionally with consideration to overall brand strategies
Past P&L management and ownership
Confident in working across multiple departments and managing multiple projects
Flexible and adaptable with the ability to work across time zones as needed.
Strong interpersonal skills, active listening, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
Experienced leader and passion to build high performing teams.

Base pay of $155,000-165,000 with additional 10% annual bonus
