About the role

  • Venue Find Consultant specializing in venue sourcing and client negotiations at BCD Meetings & Events. Enhance client experiences by providing proactive service and effective solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Elevate client experiences by providing a proactive, high-quality service.
  • Understand and exceed customer service expectations, and being proficient in all necessary systems and processes to align with client requirements.
  • Develop your knowledge of venue destinations through positive engagement with key suppliers, participation in familiarisation trips, destination workshops, and webinars as needed.
  • Collaborate effectively within the team to devise and implement the best solutions for clients.
  • Assist the Team Manager as required on various matters including monitoring customer service levels and quality assurance.
  • Assist with training and development of the consultants by sharing your knowledge and experience.
  • Apply and demonstrate venue and destination knowledge to all customers.

Requirements

  • Previous experience with venue booking systems
  • Proven negotiating and contracting experience with external suppliers
